Senior and School Portraits: Cede and Clovia

A couple of weekends ago I met Cede and Clovia for a portrait session. Talk about beginnings and endings -- these were Clovia's Kindergarten Pictures and Cede's Senior Portraits. We had a great time around Winchester and up in Sewanee, stopping at Harvey's Garden, the Natural Bridge, and Morgan's Steep. We didn't have quite the fall color we were hoping for, but there was a little bit peeking through!

So girls - here is your sneak peek! I'll have the full batch posted for you soon!

Wedding Photography: Mary's Bridal Portraits

I'm so excited to finally be able to post Mary's bridal portraits. Since the wedding was to be up in Sewanee, we decided to head up there for the bridals as well. We hit both St. Mary's Retreat Center and the John Templeton Library -- neither of which I had been to before this and both of which were so wonderful that I've used a few times since.

I thought I'd start off with a fun series of Mary "Stopping to Smell the Roses." :o)

Isn't the bouquet beautiful? Mary's talented sister Carrie made it for her.

And check out these AWESOME boots! Loved it!

Wedding Photography: Mike and Mary Marry on the Mountain

So yet again, I have no concept of the term sneak peek -- the full pictures have made out before the blog, and I'm pretty sure this many pictures constitutes more than a peek. Oh, and please forgive the title, but I'm a sucker for good alliteration! :o) A few weekends ago, I had the pleasure of photographing Mike an Mary Street's wedding. You may remember them from their engagement photos, which I posted a few months back. And from Mary's sister's wedding last fall. We also did a bridal portrait session for Mary, and I hope to get that posted in the next day or so!

Everything on this day was just fantastically beautiful. The wedding was held at Morton Methodist Church in Monteagle, Tenn., and the reception was at the Natural Bridge Events area and catered by Jayne Slagle Catering. Much of the event coordination was done by the always-fabulous Matt Worley.

So here are some of the fun pictures from the evening ... I hope you enjoy this rather long and rather late peek!
