Event Photography: Imagination Library

Last week was Imagination Library week (you may remember this recent post announcing the event), and the Franklin County chapter celebrated with a princess and prince event at the Franklin County Public Library. Tons of youngun's showed up dressed in their princess and prince finest to meet Miss Tennessee, Hailey Brown, and to hear her read Do Princesses Really Kiss Frogs, by Carmela LaVigna Coyle. I think everyone had a wonderful time ... I know I sure did!

Here are a few of my favorites from the event. These pictures are available on my proof site for purchase. And a portion of print sale proceeds will benefit the Imagination Library!

Baby Portraits: M's Newborn Pics

After much waiting, Mas finally arrive. He's such a beautiful little boy! And of course I'm a proud Aunt Linda. :o) I'm going to be using these images to create an announcement for him, and I'm planning to post the announcement when it's finished. Enjoy!

Senior Portraits: Katie and Kristen

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of taking senior portraits for Katie and Kristen. These two girls are best friends, so we overlapped their sessions so that they could have a few pictures taken together. These girls are so sweet and just beautiful - and an absolute pleasure to work with.

We held their portrait session at the Inn at Harvest Farms Lake in Morrison, Tenn. The Inn is a gorgeous 7,000 square foot Bed & Breakfast seated on a private lake. It's beautifully landscaped and make the perfect backdrop for the girls portraits. The staff was wonderful, and if you're looking for a unique wedding location, you should definitely check it out!

Girls - here is your sneak peek. I hope you enjoy them!

Event and Concert Photography: Collin Raye

Last month I had the distinct pleasure of photographing a meet and greet and concert with country music star Collin Raye. (You might remember my recent post with the newspaper coverage.) Mr. Raye is one of the most caring and generous individuals I've met.

The concert was part of the Unsung Heroes series and benefited a local young lady by the name of Jennifer Austin. Jennifer is currently recovering from an automobile accident, and her story is such an inspirational one!

Local praise band Won by One opened the concert.

Here are some of the highlights from the events. All of the photos from the meet and greet are available in my Instaproofs gallery. A portion of the proceeds from sales of 8x10 prints and autographed 8x10 prints will benefit Jennifer Austin.

In the News: Imagination Library

On Thursday Sept. 18, I'll be photographing the Franklin County Imagination Library Week event at the Franklin County Library. Miss Tennessee will be there making an appearance. The event announcement was published in today's Herald-Chronicle, and the article included a plug for LC Photography.

If you have youngins and you're in the area, be sure to bring them out next Thursday. It promises to be quite an event!

Here's the article ...
