About a month ago, I took some maternity portraits of my wonderful friend Jenny -- and I decided I had to get these posted before little "M" comes (any day now)! I'm so excited to meet my "nephew" that I can hardly stand it! Stay tuned for pictures of "M" -- there will be LOTS of them!

Children's Portraits - "B" is cute as a bug!
div>Last Friday I had the pleasure of taking pictures of little "B" at Templeton Gardens in Winchester. This little boy was sweet as can be and just cute, cute, cute! "B"s grandma, Angie, scheduled me to take some portraits as a surprise for his mom. I met Angie a couple of months ago when I took a real estate ad photo for her and my realtor, Cheryl.
Angie, your proofs should be ready very soon! Hope you enjoy your peek!

In the News - Collin Raye Benefit Concert
Last weekend, Collin Raye performed in Winchester in a benefit concert. One of my pictures of the concert was picked up in the Winchester Herald-Chronicle! I'll post more pictures from the show soon, but for now, here's the piece that was run in the paper.

Event Photography: Animal Harbor Remote Adoption
August is pet health and safety month, and last weekend, to celebrate, the Animal Care Center on Sharp Springs Road hosted a remote adoption for the Franklin County Humane Society. WZYX was involved with a remote broadcast, and one of the puppies even found his forever home!
There were so many cute little puppies and kitties there, and if you're thinking about adopting a critter soon, I would highly recommend finding one at your local humane society.
LC Photography got in on the action too ... I gave a pet sitting and small enlargement to everyone who adopted at the event. And WZYX gave me a nice little plug on the radio! Check it out! (It takes just a minute to load, and the quality of the recording isn't great, but it's still fun! And you can here the puppies barking in the background :o)! )

Political Portraits - Steve Heath
Earlier this week I met Steve Heath and family for a round of family portraits. Mr. Heath is running for the District 39 seat in the Tennessee House of Representatives. Of course we had to work in a few extra family portraits, and we took a few "posed-action" shots of Mr. Heath working at the shop (Heath Oil). So without further ado (Mrs. Peggy, you've been so patient), here is your somewhat lengthy sneak peek!
This is Mason with his puppy, Agnes. Agnes is, hands down, the biggest dog I've ever met -- 135 lbs. of love and sweetness. And I only got slimed a few times. :o)
And this one would have looked big if I hadn't met Agnes first. :o)
The family portrait

Definately my FAV pic of the day. I just adore the look of love on dad's face here.

At the shop ...

Corporate Photography - Animal Care Center
I'm working on a Web site for Animal Care Center, a local animal clinic, and a few weeks ago, I took some photos of the site and the staff for the Web site. Here they are!

Pictures of some of the clinic critters for use on the Web site page headers...
And just for fun, here's a picture of my Pepper Mint ...

July was "dental health month," and the fine folks at the clinic were offering free dental exams and cleanings throughout the month. So, Macy Mae just had to have her fangs washed. Here's the picture of her!

Engagement Portraits - Mike and Mary
Last weekend, I met Mike and Mary in downtown Nashville for their Engagement session. What a wonderful couple! Mary and I are longtime friends, and she signed me on to do their wedding photos shortly after I shot Carrie and Issac's (her sister and brother-in-law) wedding last fall. Here is a sneak peek guys! I'll have the rest to you soon!
