George and Ashley's Rehearsal Dinner

Last weekend I had the distinct pleasure of attending the wedding of my dear friends George and Ashley at the Duke Chapel in Durham, North Carolina. These are two of the most wonderful, most genuine people I've ever met, and they couldn't be more perfect for each other. They run a veterinary clinic in Winchester, Tenn. -- the Animal Care Center -- and my sister-in-law, who often assists me at shoots, manages their practice.

They have been planning the wedding and have had a photographer booked since long before we even met. But I was able to help them out by video taping the wedding for them and filling-in on photography when their official photographer wasn't there. These are pictures from their rehearsal dinner at Papas Grille, a most excellent Mediterranean restaurant in Durham.

George and Ashley, I hope you are having a WONDERFUL time in Greece! And, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day!

If you're looking for a great event coordinator, let me recommend Matt at Premier Events in Brentwood, Tenn. Here are some of his fantastic tablescapes. A few months ago, I posted some pictures of Carrie and Issac's wedding, which he coordinated.

United Way Tocqueville Society Event

On Wednesday, United Way of Metropolitan Nashville hosted a breakfast for its Tocqueville Society members. Howell and Madeline Adams, renowned philanthropists from the Atlanta area, were in town and spoke about the inspirations for their generosity. It was truly a gift to hear these two wonderful individuals share their stories.

Sennet Event and In the News

Sennet Society, United Way of Metropolitan Nashville's young leaders initiative, recently celebrated its 10 year anniversary. The event was hosted at the fabulous Aerial on Broadway in downtown Nashville. The venue was fantastic, as was the food. Governor Bredesen came out to speak, as did Ellen Leifeld, editor of The Tennessean and United Way's 2008 Campaign Chair.

Here's the clip from the City Paper ... more pics are below.

Here're two of my LIVE UNITED pictures, Beth Alexander and Rickey James, that were featured in the Nashville Business Journal and Nashville Pride respectively. This is part of the new United Way of Metropolitan Nashville ad campaign.

I'll post more as they come!

These are some pics I took at the recent United Way Campaign Celebration, and which were picked up by Nashville Pride.
